This went through several versions because we initially put a big vocal sample on top, meaning it was completely unreleasable. Aeroplane’s label tried to clear the sample so that we could use it, but it didn’t work out. In the end we took the sample off and finished it as an instrumental. The arpeggio/melody is from the Korg 700s.

This is our second remix for Robyn.
There’s a recording of breaking glass somewhere in there, and the bass line is made up of individually sliced notes processed in different ways and then joined back together.

We put in our own steel drum melody which sounds a bit like a theme tune for a TV sports show .

The original song has a fantastic steel drum melody, but only near the end. We layered it up with a Juno 106 sound, and made it the centre of the remix.

This remix didn’t come out, due to us delivering it three months late, by which time the single had already been released.
It’s still a remix, so it’s still listed here.

This came out on Get Physical – a great label. We tried to make it an acid track, but then got too influenced by the ‘b section’ of Axel-F. The Axel -F sound comes from the Nord Rack2 with some backwards reverb.

This was our first remix for Robyn. The song was written by The Knife. We sampled and looped the section where she sings the word ‘pressure’ and put it through a BOSS VT-1 voice transformer to make it weird.
